1. Local-First Data Processing (Our Security Promise)

LedgerGlide is designed with an offline-first architecture. All invoice document extractions, OCR scanning, layout calculations, and direct Tally Prime XML socket postings occur **locally on your computer**. Under no circumstances are your vendor invoices, financial records, client names, transaction values, or bank statement data transmitted to, stored on, or processed by LedgerGlide cloud servers.

2. Data We Collect & Process

We only collect metadata required for license provisioning, usage checks, and user-initiated diagnostic support:

• Licensing Data: Email address, name, mobile number, purchase plans, and machine hardware hashes (stable hashes computed from your local Motherboard, CPU, and registry identifiers).
• Activation Registry: Timestamps of activations, expirations, and online licensing checks.
• Support Submissions: If you explicitly click "Support" to file an issue, the software packages your system logs (`audit_log.md` + `crash_log.txt`) and uploads them securely via API to assist in bug resolution.

3. Data Security & Storage

Your local settings and layout configurations are stored in JSON file formats inside the secure Windows user AppData directory (`%APPDATA%/LedgerGlide/`). You are responsible for ensuring your local computer is secure from unauthorized access.

4. Indian DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

In compliance with India's **Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023**, you have complete control over your license details. You can request deletion of your license metadata at any time by contacting us at support@ledgerglide.in.
